There are many aspects of our identity that we have little control over, like certain physical characteristics and personality traits.
However, we as humans are rightfully unsatisfied with our “base" appearance, and have mastered the art of self-determined identity through decoration. We fill our lives with patterns and colors that we are drawn to as a way of expressing ourselves.
You may be someone whose home is filled by every color of the rainbow, and then some, or you may be someone whose wardrobe guards fabrics dyed in strictly cool tones. Whether knowingly or unconsciously, you have likely assigned yourself a color scheme that you live by, and as any great artist knows, color goes beyond aesthetic and into meaning.
When looking into the meaning of the colors that you surround yourself with, you not only grasp a better understanding of yourself, but you are able to see the impact that they have in your life. Aligning yourself with colors that completely represent you and bring out the the most positive emotions within you is vital.
