WHAT IT'S ALL FOR
ECCOSOPHY was brought to life by Sophia, a former flight attendant brought up on the Mediterranean coast. Sophia's love for the beach was coupled with her passion for traveling and appreciating new countries and cultures, and that's how our company came to be.
Resting on the pillars of comfort, enjoyment and style, we work towards designing products that enhance your travel experience and get you out and adventuring. These days, you'll either find us developing new problem-solving products, adding fun designs to existing ones, or sitting on a Californian beach conducting some "product testing.”
DISCOVERING SOLUTIONS....
How could we maximize the fun and ease of the beach experience as much as possible? The first question we asked ourselves and others was: what is the most frustrating thing about going to the beach? We found 3 unanimous pain points: The sand. The bulk. And the weight of carrying a gazillion accessories. Our focus became clear. We needed to create compact, lightweight and sand free products.
THE JOURNEY...
Began in October 2018. ECCOSOPHY launched its first online product, our sand free beach blanket and you guys loved it! Thanks a bunch for fanning our flames and paving the way for our next product. Our company’s motto soon became “ no sand no mess” and our next logical step was to design a collection of sand free microfiber beach towels. Pretty soon a mini, waterproof beach blanket joined our collection.
